This group from Cadiz combines flamenco with the folk music of the Alpujarras near Granada, plus a touch of jazz and “new music.” Singer Maria la Monica comes from a family steeped in flamenco. Her emotional singing is backed by very fresh and beautiful musical arrangements. Recommended.
