Carles Benavent ~ Quartet ~ CD

More top of the line fusion from this extraordinary Catalan musician who, as a member of Paco de Lucia's famous sextet, practically invented the Flamenco bass. Benavent's current quartet consists of Jordi Bonell (Guitar), Ravid Goldschmidt (Hang), and Roger Blavia (Drums). Their music is Spanish Jazz Fusion, but the Flamenco overtones don't stay far for long.
