Niccolo Paganini ~ Concerto per Chitarra ed Archi: Secondo la Grand Sonata (Full Score) (ed. Wolfgang Lendle) ~ Music Book
When Paganini didn't feel like playing his violin, he played the guitar, and was an excellent guitarist. He also composed many pieces for the instrument, among them this Grand Sonata in which the violin "accompanies" the guitar. Lendle has breathed new life into this work, expanding the violin part into a fully orchestrated Concerto for string quartet and the solo guitar. The guitar part is in notation, and comes with a CD that can be used to learn and practice the 20-minute piece. The score book contains a full conductor's/study score, and individual parts for the four strings.
