Notation.Brouwer's guitar works have a surrealistic, contemporary flavor about them (sometimes resulting in unusual notation) grounded by an almost folksy (Afro-Cuban) sense of rhythm, and local (mostly Cuban) color. He now lives in Spain where he collaborates with Vicente Amigo and others.
