Soundtrack to the recent film by Jasmine Dellal and Albert Maysles, which documents the U.S. tour undertaken by several groups representing different flavors of Gipsy music. The soundtrack includes full performance pieces and other musical segments by each of the featured ensembles, bits of backstage jamming, noodling, philosophising.... Esma Redzepova, Taraf de Haidouks, Fanfare Ciocarlia, Maharaja, and the Antonio el Pipa Flamenco Co., which performs a few fairly intense numbers, some featuring the hair-raising cante of Juana la del Pipa.
