Often cited as the greatest of Django's musical heirs, Lagrene has explored various flavors of Jazz. But here he's all Django, with Holzmano Lagrene and Hono Winterstein on guitars, Diego Imbert on double bass, Florin Niculescu on violin, and Richard Galiano as guest accordionist. Django compositions make up most of the set list, with a few other Swing classics in the line-up. The playing is occasionally unbelievable, always comfortably eloquent.
