Raphael Fays ~ Swing Guitar ~ CD

Recorded live at the International Guitar Festival in Liege, Belgium in 1985, this recording has been remastered from the original tapes. Fays, who has been a major influence on many younger players like Bireli Lagrene and Stochelo Rosenberg was a pioneer in the use of Latin rhythms and modern repertoire in Gipsy Jazz, and remains one of the greats of the genre. He is accompanied by Laurent Bajata on guitar and Claude Mouton on double bass.
