Samir Joubran ~ Tamaas ~ CD
Joubran's style is less technical and more emotional than that of most oud players. The music shows a nice balance between composition and improvisation, tradition and modernity. The record also includes several engaging oud duets with brother Wissam. These two brothers from Nazareth are the cream of the crop among today's Palestinian oud players. Recommended.
