Brothers of the Baladi ~ A Time of Peace ~ CD

The Brothers of the Baladi perfrom a set of traditional Christmas favorites with their usual Middle-Eastern instrumentation. The results are really kind of magical. Their arrangements all "work," their performances are always solid, and you could even say that there is a sort of "peace and understanding" bridge naturally built into their musical identity. So in conclusion, this is a very decent record, and if it promotes a mental state of peace and such, that's not a bad thing either.
