Rocio Ruiz ~ Sueños de Mimbre ~ CD
Born in Jerez and raised in Rota, Ruiz learned the cante from her father, and despite her young age has shared stages with the likes of La Paquera, Esperanza Fernandez, and La Macanita. Here she covers the whole range from Soleares and Martinetes to Bulerias and Rumba. Also Malaguenas, Colombianas, and a cool Arab Tango done with several North African musicians.
