Juan Peña "El Lebrijano" ~ Yo Me Llamo Juan ~ CD

The cantes on El Lebrijano's new album have the same song-like melodicism one finds on his recent Arab-flavored records, but here the flavor is more Flamenco and/or personal. The guitar is by Paco Jarana (very nice), and there are still plenty of exotic touches (sitar, darbuka, strings...). If you've enjoyed El Lebrijano's recent CD's, you should like this one, as it's quite good, but not everyone's cup of tea.
