Antonio del Patrocinio ~ Alma Flamenca ~ CD
A nice album which pulls in two stylistic directions. On the one hand, there are some straightforward traditional cantes, with standard guitar accompaniment, palmas perhaps, and then there are a few tracks that feature extensive instrumentation- and these work quite well, with some grand musical drama. So the record is not of one mind, but both minds are good.
