Nine Sonatas arranged for two guitars by the duo of Julian Gray and Ronald Pearl. The book contains the full score for two guitars, plus individual parts booklets for each guitarist. Interesting biographical notes and performance suggestions. Scarlatti's music is full of Spanish overtones, and the use of rasgueados (a la Spanish Baroque guitar) in these arrangements accentuates this, and makes the pieces sound very idiomatic to the guitar.
