Orkestina ~ Transilvania Express ~ CD

Based in Spain, where they have become a bit of a sensation, this ensemble performs Gipsy and Jewish music from Eastern Europe. The four musicians- from Spain, Bulgaria, Ireland and the UK- play accordions, violins, bass, Bulgarian lutes, clarinets, and percussion. While the music sounds mostly traditional, the ensemble definitely has its own musical personality, and their sound is very infectious.
