Florin Niculescu ~ Djangophonie ~ CD
Violinist Niculescu points out the influence of classical music on Django's own compositions with this project, for which he brought together an acoustic Manouche jazz ensemble and a classical quartet. The pieces alternate between composed arrangements and improvised sections.
