Accompanied by Chicuelo on guitar, with production assistance by Joan Albert Amargos, Poveda presents a set of cantes in Catalan, with letras adapted from the work of several Catalan poets. Unconventional as the language might be for Flamenco, Poveda's Cante is dead serious, and second to none on the contemporary scene.
