Madjid Khaladj ~ Anthology of Iranian Rhythms ~ CD
Khaladj performs ten percussion grooves/compositions for Daf (mystical drum), Dayre (frame drum), and Zang-e-saringoshti (small copper cymbals). Drawing on a Sufi mystical aesthetic, most of the pieces have a mellow trance-like feel about them.
