Similar to the Rumba, from which it may have been derived, the Colombiana is one of the most popular forms in the genre called Ida y Vuelta, with a strong Latin-American flavor. The first CD contains full versions with and without a dancer, then breaks the piece down into sections for practicing. The second CD contains various escobillas at different tempos, some with just percussion, some with guitar and percussion, and some even have a vocal.
