Jorge Polanuer & Federico Mizrahi ~ Tango for Piano ~ Music Book & CD

An interesting book that features a collection of Argentine Tangos (with a couple of Waltzes and Milongas thrown in for good measure) composed by Polanuer, with an extensive introduction to the teaching and performance of the Tango as a dance. The recordings on the CD, performed by Federico Mizrahi (a prominent Tango performer and session player in Buenos Aires) thus serve as a guide and play-along track for the pianist studying this repertoire, and also as a musical backing for dancers, students, dance classes, all of whom will benefit from the notes that accompany the music.
