The Mudejar style of architecture is often called the most Spanish of styles. It was the work of Muslim builders (alarifes) who converted to Christianity and stayed on in Spain after the reconquest. This musical program takes its inspiration from the Mudejar church of San Martin in Cuellar in the province of Segovia.
