This is a remake of Farroukh's first record, which was never released outside of France. Again recorded between Beirut and Paris, it blends the flavors of Jazz and Middle Eastern music in the context of original compositions that are surprisingly evocative, even visual. The ensemble of Eastern and Western musicians plays brilliantly at times, but alwys with good taste. Unique material.
